The EFA-SRT® Soft Touch high-speed roll-up door is an interior door specially designed for intensive industrial use. It is collision-resistant, reliable, space-saving and low-maintenance and therefore particularly recommended for areas of application with heavy passenger traffic. The door system has a collision protection and offers high operational safety thanks to a flexible closing edge.
The EFA Soft Touch system fulfils the requirements for a dimensionally stable door leaf, even in the event of draughts and pressure differences: The door convinces with high speed, easy manual opening when needed as well as collision and personal protection. The innovative roll-up door technology combines door leaf tensioning and weight compensation with approach and bump detection in one complete system. In contrast to other roll-up door designs, the separate latching connections of the EFA-SRT® Soft Touch are brought together again when the lower end positions are reached. The results are above-average functionality, absolute operational reliability and longevity.
The roll-up door system has a completely newly designed collision protection and offers a high level of operational safety thanks to a flexible closing edge. Should the door leaf come into contact with an obstacle or a person, the closing edge can easily deform in all directions. An additional safety edge is therefore not required for these EFAFLEX roll-up doors. If a certain deformation path is exceeded, the two latching connections on the door end loosen so that the door leaf can separate from the guide pieces. Sensors report this condition to the control system as a “crash”. As a result, the movement is stopped immediately and an immediate raising of the system is initiated.
