The EFA-SRT® EC was developed in close cooperation with the food industry. The hygienic high-speed roll-up door is the optimal solution for all internal passages with high requirements regarding hygiene, for example in the food industry. The EFA-SRT® EC is the only hygienic roll-up door for the food industry recommended by the German Association of Food Inspectors (BVLK).
The “EC” in EFA-SRT® EC stands for “Easy Clean”. The entire roll-up door design is made from stainless steel as standard. The elastic curtain fulfils HACCP and FDA requirements. Thanks to the space-saving roller shutter design, the EFA-SRT® EC can also be used in cramped installation situations. You can easily release the frame cover, and open and lock the frames for cleaning. The BLVK particularly praises the possibility of frothing and cleaning using a steam jet.
The construction of the EFA-SRT® EC is cleverly thought out to the smallest detail: The winding shaft cover and the end shield are designed at an angle so that liquids can drain off and nothing drips onto the driveway or the food. Using the support of pressure dampers, this cover can be pivoted upwards in a few simple steps. In this way, you can easily clean the bottom of the roll-up door and the winding shaft is accessible. The counterbalance of our professional hygiene door by means of counterweights is protected against corrosion by a special coating. Moreover, with these roll-up doors the electric and electronic components of the microprocessors and frequency converters are housed within a V2A control cabinet of protection class IP 65.
